What We Learned

This innovative programme has proved a very successful way to gather the ideas, concerns and attitudes of individuals within our community and give a voice to those in the community who generally have no platform to express themselves.

These digital stories have the capacity to build individual and community bridges by communicating in an entirely new and innovative way the voices of individuals. All the participants are very proud of their stories and each shows a different perspective on their local community. The participants are also aware of the potential power of their stories, ‘I am really proud of my story, my mum and dad thought it was very good – I hope the council see my story and do something about my area – give us somewhere to play.’
