About No-One Left Behind
The original aim of “No-One Left Behind” was to support the delivery of a community vision with particular emphasis on disability and the city centre leading to the creation of an advocacy website.
The different digital stories on the website are created from views by members of the public with either a physical disability or a learning disability. It was understood from the outset of the project that the extremely diverse nature of disability would not allow for every form of disability to be addressed. Selection of participants was at the discretion of the commissioned organisation in relation to timescale, consultation with relevant agencies and process constraints.
The project reflects an inclusive range of age, gender, race, and religion and draws on views from across the city.
