The ‘BUZZ’ Programme is an innovative Verbal Arts Centre project on drug and alcohol education through creative activity that fuses artistic expression and new technology.

The programme aims to provide a ‘community-based’ education programme improving the knowledge, attitudes and awareness that young people in the Limavady Borough have in relation to drugs and alcohol.

The last thing young people respond to these days is preaching! The BUZZ programme is a gradual learning process whereby young participants learn the dangers of drug, alcohol and solvent abuse while, basically, having some fun! At the end of the process, they are in a better position to make ‘informed’ choices in their futures.
