Early Years/Foundation Stage
Digital Storytelling Project
Age range: 3 – 6

Duration:
This project can be completed during 6 hour-long sessions
or it can be tailored to suit individuals and groups. Please
contact the centre to speak to the project coordinator, who
will cater for your needs.
Children will create enchanting stories which will be displayed
on the Verbal Arts Centre’s website.
Working alongside a skilled facilitator, and using digital
equipment at the centre, children involved willcollaborate
with each other, their teachers and classroom assistants
to create a digital record of their lives.
Skills and competencies developed through a digital
storytelling project include language development, literacy,
oracy and sequencing skills, team working,
recording voiceovers, selection of photographs, telling
stories, and drama.
