School Report Northern Ireland - Limavady High

The Year 8 students from Limavady High School have been in training since 28th February, in preparation for BBC News School Report Day. They’ve gone through all the lesson plans on the School Report website and they are now preparing radio packages which they will broadcast on this page on March 22nd. Some of the students have shared their opinions of the project to date:

“It’s been good for us, good craic, and I’ve learned quite a lot. I’m looking forward to reporting on the rugby game which is taking place at our school on March 22nd.” Connor
“My favourite part of the training has been gathering the news. I’ve enjoyed working in teams to get our reports written to a deadline.” Philip

“It’s been good fun learning about the news and how it should be done properly. I’m looking forward to the live broadcast on School Report Day.” Josh

“It’s been interesting searching for the work and assembling it. Learning how to work in a group and agree on one story has been a challenge. I’ve really enjoyed the training. I’ve learned loads and I’m looking forward to putting it all into practice on March 22nd !” Stephen
Our presenter Lauren brushing up on her technique ahead of her live broadcast on Radio Ulster at 2pm today!
