This room was formerly the assembly hall of First Derry School. It has been sensitively restored retaining all of its original features whilst incorporating the latest in audio/visual and IT equipment.
Two resplendent bardic chairs and flexible lecterns crafted from maple and walnut handmade by craftsman Michael Bell add an artistic and practical touch to the room.

Debating Chamber

· The twin tiered seating arrangement in this room provides the area with a multiple of uses which include debates, meetings and performances. The Debating Chamber and Blue Coat Room can be opened up to form a single, large performance/meeting space.
