Our Ship She Lies Ready

'Our Ship She Lies Ready' is a new collection of songs on Irish emigration showcasing the unaccompanied vocal talents of Jim MacFarland and Jackie Boyce. This 16-track album features much-loved traditional Irish songs, as well as some less well-known tracks. The album was produced by the Verbal Arts Centre in association with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and An Chomhairle Ealaíon through joint funding initiative, Turas.

The CD was launched at the monthly traditional Irish singing session in Tinney’s Bar, Derry on November 6th 2008. 'Our Ship She Lies Ready' is now available for purchase at the Verbal Arts Centre.
